What could the Virgin Mary possibly have to do with Washington, DC? The Founders of America repeatedly said, in word, deed, and symbols, that America was founded under the Divine Providence of God. We should take their legacy seriously because they died for what they believed and for what they protected. The last sentence of the Declaration of Independence states,

‘And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.’

‘Divine Providence’ means that God is actively guiding man’s activities, the universe, nature and the entire creation. The Founders, in writing the Declaration, firmly believed and relied upon the Divine Providence of God to ensure that America would not only survive, but that it would thrive under the watchful eye of God. It is very important in this journey to not discount things that seem impossible too quickly. Do not allow the temptation to discard impossibilities as being pure coincidence, as most would initially be inclined to do. Bear in mind the Founders held God in the highest respect, even above their own ‘Lives, …Fortunes, and … sacred Honor’. America was built on their incredible strength of faith in God and a belief that His Divine Providence would ensure that their work would not be in vain.

The text inside the Grail cup appears to be pointing to Washington, DC, a city that did not exist when the Bible was written. As improbable as one might think it is for an encoded message in the Bible to predict the capital city of America over 150 years before the city or even the country would be born, throw caution to the wind and have faith in the Divine Providence of God to lead you. It does not matter whether or not the clues appear to be believable because it is the nature of truth to eventually make itself known. The logical next step is to look at the history of Washington, DC. Understanding how the city came to be located where it is might shed some light on the mystery.

On July 16, 1790, Congress authorized the capital city to be built on the Potomac River. George Washington was to select the exact location. The final shape of the city was to be a square measuring 10 miles per side. The capital was named for George Washington on September 9, 1791. The land used to create the city was donated by two states, Virginia and Maryland. The names of the states that donated the land for Washington, DC provide the first confirmation that the encoded message in the Bible might be accurate.

The first six letters of ‘VIRGINIA’ are ‘VIRGIN’, and the first four letters of ‘MARYLAND’ are ‘MARY’. Combined Virginia and Maryland contain an encoded form of ‘Virgin Mary’. Why the Virgin Mary? In the Biblical account of the birth of Jesus, He was born unto the Virgin Mary. The story of the Annunciation of Jesus Christ is related in Luke 1:26-37.

26. And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
27. To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary.
28. And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
29. And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.
30. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
31. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
32. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
33. And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
34. Then said Mary unto the angel, how shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
35. And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
36. And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.
37. For with God nothing shall be impossible.

For with God nothing shall be impossible. Trust God and continue to follow the trail. The land that became Washington, DC was donated by two states whose names can be reduced quite easily to ‘VIRGIN MARY’, but that is not all. The primary symbol for the Masons is the Square and Compass with the letter G inside.

The two letters after Washington in the name of the city are ‘DC’. The value of ‘DC’ is 4 + 3 = 7, and the value of ‘G’ is 7. The letters ‘DC’ are intended to call attention to the number 7, as is the symbol of the Masons. The name, Washington, contains the letter ‘G’. In the Bible, Jesus is often referred to as the first and the last. The letter ‘G’ is the 7th letter from the beginning and the 4th letter from the end. The letter ‘G’ has a value of 7. Combining the value of ‘G’ with the positions of ‘G’ in the word, the numbers 77 and 74 can be derived from the beginning and end, respectively. Since ‘CHRIST’ = 77 and ‘JESUS’ = 74, the name ‘CHRIST JESUS’ is encoded into the name of Washington, DC.

The capital city of the United States, Washington, DC, was formed from land donated by Virginia and Maryland and is a coded representation of the Biblical account of Christ Jesus being born of the Virgin Mary. A coded message in the King James Bible points to Washington, DC as the location of the Holy Grail and Washington, DC in turn points back at Christ Jesus and the Virgin Mary. The odds of this reciprocal relationship between the 1611 King James Bible and the city of Washington, DC being a random occurrence are slim. It would have taken a group that was as dedicated as the Freemasons to pull off a conspiracy of this magnitude and keep the secret quiet. The Divine Providence of God almost surely played a role in the successful completion of such a monumental task.
